The Purveyor is the first of its kind in the Des Moines metro area. Our modern, European-style market is designed for experiencing the unexpected. We are striving to be the go-to storefront for our guests, and can only do so by sourcing our products from local businesses. From our local charcuterie and Midwestern cheeses, to exclusive tap to bottle wines, and luxury baked goods by Doré Bakery, we curate cuisine meant for sipping, savoring and hosting with ease.
Wines On Tap
Inspired by Free Flow Wines in California, we encourage our guests to try and sample all sorts of wines. With over 20 wines on tap, our guests are sure to be able to find the right wine that satisfies their taste buds. With the ability to try the wines before you buy, we want our guests to enjoy their time picking the perfect wine for them. Once a wine is picked, our guests are able to purchase a bottle to enjoy at home with friends and family.
Sustainable Food Packaging
We understand the importance of sustainable food packaging, and do our part to reduce waste as much as possible. As our products are meant to be on-the-go, we strive to provide our customers with sustainable to-go items. With our wine on tap system, we can ensure that we aren’t wasting wine by the bottle. Instead, our guests can sample as many wines as they would like, without worrying about wasting an entire bottle of wine. We are passionate foodies committed to sustainable, seasonal educational experiences that empower our community to explore and share memorable food moments.
“Milton Creamery is a small, family-owned cheesemaker in Southern Iowa. We source all of our milk from small, individual family farms that are local to us. We do this as a way of further supporting our community in rural Iowa by providing a crucial outlet for the high-quality milk that they produce while also placing a higher value on it than other buyers would, thus ensuring that our farmers’ way of life is protected, honored and symbiotic with our own way of life and values. We take all of the hard work that goes into producing the finest milk and honor it by creating delicious and unique cheeses, rooted in tradition, authenticity, a strong sense of community, and values.
